Camp Fire turns 100 years old in 2010!There will be Centennial celebrations throughout the year around the country. The keystone Centennial event will be the lighting of the National Centennial Campfires in Kansas City and across the country on the evening of Saturday, July 31, 2010. Each Camp Fire council will light a campfire at the same time across the country to honor Camp Fire's 100 years, and the public is invited to participate.
We will have more information about Centennial evens as they draw closer.

The national office has
announced that Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill has been named Honorary Chair for the
Camp Fire USA Centennial. As a council within Missouri, we are especially pleased
at this connection.
